The Canon Powershot A-650 IS has 12.1 megapixels and is perfect for dental photography. The versatile 2.5 inch LCD display coupled with the Image Stabilizer enables ease of use while working with patients. The camera can be held in a comfortable and ergonomic way thus allowing eye contact with the patient to determine optimal image selection. In order to speed up the work-flow the camera can be set in a fixed zoom position which is automatically triggered when the camera has been activated. The optional grid display functions are very practical for aligning and taking photos of the front teeth. The focal point of the camera can be set to a fixed position thus enabling faster and exact focusing of a defined tooth.

The doctorseyes system case was constructed to protect the camera already mounted on the doctorseyes system. This enables you to start taking pictures without having to mount anything. Mirrors can additionally be placed in the case for good protection.
Please compare: The left shots were taken with a CanonPowershot A620 with 7 Megapixel resolution and the EOS Rebel XT had 8 Megapixel resolution. The present Model A650 has already got 12 Megapixel and the present Canon EOS Rebel XTi also has 12 Megapixel resolution.
